'For a first album Seasons of Love is quite astonishing. It’s rounded, mature, full of passion and it is pure jazz. A great way to start what I think will be a very successful career in the hard world of jazz and Beverley get’s a well deserved UKJazzRadio 5 Star rating!'

...an enjoyable selection of songs, particularly Devil May Care, whose punchy, staccato notes are executed well. Beirne Possesses a broad, warm lower register and her boldly held sustained notes have something of Nina Simone about them...'

'Beverley's gig was a sell-out success and the audience had a great evening in her company. From a promoter's point of view she was also easy to work with, supplying good quality publicity on time!! I wish her much success.'
Taru Sinclair, Marsden Jazz Festival

'Rapidly rising vocal star Beverley Beirne is earning plaudits across the place from the jazz high and mighty and rightly so. She has wonderful interpretation and empathy with the musicians behind her, to bring us vocal jazz of rare vintage. Add to that the depth, clarity and precision of her voice and you are in for impeccably swinging vocal jazz, which will transport you to that golden age...'

Beverley Beirne is one rare jazz vocalist that comes along once in a while... Her tone is excellent, her smooth phrases will knock you out and most important, she has her own style which not many jazz singers today have. I think her new CD Seasons of Love will be a treasure in any jazz collection. I give it 5 stars.
